It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to Rideau Bakery, a beloved institution that has served Ottawa for nearly 90 years. The news of their closure brings a sense of loss to our community. In addition to being a cornerstone of Ottawa's culinary scene, the bakery's owner, David Kardish, is currently battling lymphoma.
